Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we fail. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

Future Ventures

This is just a short blip to let all you spinners and soon to be spinners out there know, I intend to get sheep, and most likely, alpacas in the near future (like this year or next). I would love to supply you with the raw wool which you can turn into your own venture, especially those of you who are in need of a way to continue staying home and supporting the fam (cough, Sarah and Sabbath). Anyway, just wanted to throw that out there. I am seeing sheep pop up all over the place, and as soon as I do some more research I think they are going to be happy additions to the Sugar Creek Family Farm, er, family.

Yarn share

So I originally got only a half share, but have an email out to see about adding another half for a full, because this, is love. I can't wait to start on the jumper for me. Yes, me. I am also starting socks from some gorgeous yarn I got at Charity's a week or so back. Anyway, here is the photo of the yarn, as well as the super thoughtful picture card of the ewe who "donated" the wool.
