Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we fail. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

Standard Summer Supper

Includes: Fresh Hamburgers off the grill using local beef from Ebersole Cattle Company, Prairie Breeze Cheese from Milton, Iowa, buns made at home from Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes a Day cookbook, refrigerator pickles from cukes free from the local Farm and Home store, sliced heritage tomatoes from the garden, and sweet corn from a farmer Dad does some tractor work for. I love eating at the peak of summer's bounty! (the corn is not in the picture-it was staying hot on the stove).

Our dinners are very similar. The kids love fresh corn on the cob and eat it like candy.

I welcome hospitable, intelligent discussion. I do not welcome mean-spirited comments. Though they are "moderated" I post pretty much everything, with a very, very small exception-that being spam and those who aim to hurts others intentionally. I'd love hear what you have to say, otherwise!
