The last few years we have made gingerbread houses. I admit, I totally skimp out here and just purchase the kits. I already do a lot of baking, and the thought of adding one more thing to it doesn't sound fun. The kids love putting the store ones together and decorating them, and then destroying them :)
This year I put ours on the mantle above the fireplace in hopes the destruction would wait until after Christmas. I have seen Superboy up there a couple times, having moved the ottoman to use it as a ladder, so the door has now started to disappear. I think the rest should make it until after Friday evening, when we celebrate our Christmas time together.
