Yan can cook! I mean Momma can sew!

I finished the first of many Christmas presents, and I must say it was rather simple. I just need to be more patient. This is an apron for my sister in law. I got neat poem that talks about grandmothers and building family life upon apron strings, and decided all girls should have an apron of their own, so that is the female portion of Christmas presents this year. Here is Pony Gal's.

  1. That is so cool! Was it difficult? I have a sewing machine but I'm not very good with it yet...

  2. It was not hard at all. My biggest hang up is patience. I got it from a book called simple sewing at the ALtoona library. Now I only have like 8 more to go...

  3. Looks good! I like your idea of pairing it with a poem.

I welcome hospitable, intelligent discussion. I do not welcome mean-spirited comments. Though they are "moderated" I post pretty much everything, with a very, very small exception-that being spam and those who aim to hurts others intentionally. I'd love hear what you have to say, otherwise!
